There is something about house interiors that fascinates me. Perhaps its how materials, craftsmanship, light, shadow , and texture all work together to provide a house what we call its charm and character.
In this gallery you will see examples of what I see when I take my camera inside a house. Often I do my work sitting on the floor, essentially changing viewer perspective from the way one typically views the scene. I am always thrilled by the comments made by the home owners when they see the photos: "I've never noticed that" or " I never saw it that way" are common responses. That is part of the joy and excitement of doing this work: bringing new perspective to the commonplace.
