Let’s face it: like it or not, AI is a fantastic technology… but it’s not perfect. I used several ChatGPT apps to generate images: Consistent Character GPT and Glibatree Art Designer—both leverage ChatGPT’s DALL-E-3 image creation technology.
The results are astonishing, to say the least. You must provide a prompt to generate an image or series of images.
Example:
Create a 1870s school classroom. A 15 year old girl, long hair pulled back, simple dress, wearing round glasses, holding a small chalkboard. Boy 15 years old dressed in farm clothes, messy hair, with welt under his eye. Make the image photographic style.
Sometimes, it gets it right. Other times, it will do silly things. Image fails are more likely due to poor prompts than anything. Creating strong prompts takes practice. The above one is far from perfect, but it will give you an idea of what needs to be done. After each image creation, the app will ask if you want to make changes. Additional prompts can correct problems. Often, once things go sideways, it is better to start over.
Below are a few fails.
